Job summary

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a Domestic Service Assistant for St. Joseph's Lifecare in Upper Hutt City, Wellington. This casual role focuses on cleaning and laundry services for residents, delivering a high standard of care in a warm, supportive environment.

Experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is provided. You will work with a diverse team, uphold Nga Paerewa and Treaty standards, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Ability to build good rapport with residents and show empathy.
• Willingness to learn and pick up new systems quickly.
• Understanding of Nga Paerewa sector standards and the Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace.

Our Domestic service assistants are responsible for providing an efficient and effective Cleaning & Laundry service for our residents at St. Joseph's Lifecare.
