Job summary

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a Domestic Service Assistant for St Joseph's Lifecare in Upper Hutt, Wellington. You will provide cleaning and laundry support for residents in a warm, caring environment, with casual AM and weekend shifts. Full on-job training provided.

Candidates should enjoy teamwork, be reliable, and willing to learn new systems while respecting Nga Paerewa standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred; however, full on-job training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Ability to build good rapport with others and show empathy.
• Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
• Understanding of Nga Paerewa sector standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
