Job summary

Omexom New Zealand is seeking an energetic leader to head our Distribution Reactive operations across Albany/North Auckland, Silverdale, Warkworth and Henderson. You will coach skilled field crews, provide on-site technical leadership, and ensure safe, high-standard delivery of critical network work.

In this pivotal role you’ll shape workforce capability by coaching, mentoring and developing teams, promoting compliance, and fostering a high-performing culture where people thrive.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and develop field teams across multiple depots.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality outcomes.
• Experience coordinating plant, equipment, and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Contract Manager in leading teams and managing assets.
• Deliver training, coaching, and competency development to build capability.
• Oversee subcontractor coordination and asset sign-off processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop field teams with a safety-first culture.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support planning, tender opportunities, and commercially resilient outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in safe, efficient, cost-effective work practices.
• Champion HSE standards through engagement and audits.
• Participate in standby roster to support network operations.
