Job summary

Qjumpers Auckland South is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee daily transport and dispatch operations. You’ll lead a team across Drivers, Runners, Dispatch, Warehouse, Sales and Customer Service to ensure timely, safe deliveries and excellent customer service.

You’ll balance service quality with transport costs, maintain health and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement across planning, compliance and performance.

• Experience managing transport, logistics, distribution or supply chain operations.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
• Experience overseeing fleet compliance, vehicle maintenance and transport performance.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and operational compliance requirements.

Job description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee daily transport and dispatch operations, develop your team and ensure customers receive their orders safely, efficiently and on time.

This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with Drivers, Runners, Dispatch, Warehouse, Sales and Customer Service. You’ll balance service quality, delivery efficiency and transport costs while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading daily transport and dispatch operations.
• Managing, coaching and developing Drivers, Runners and Dispatch Coordinators.
