Job summary

OneStaff in Tauranga is seeking a hands-on Dispatch Coordinator to organise drivers, coordinate fleet movements, and keep the dispatch software accurate. You will manage customer enquiries and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure swift, reliable service.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries via phone, counter sales, and electronic communications.
• Coordinate and schedule drivers and contractors to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor fleet movements through GPS and dispatch systems.
• Maintain and update dispatch software, ensuring job information is accurate and current.
• Liaise with suppliers, quarries, dump sites, loaders, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all documentation, including waybills, dockets, and driver paperwork, is completed accurately and on time.
• Assist with driver rostering and scheduling while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.
• Monitor stock flow and help coordinate supply levels to meet customer demand.
• Contribute to process improvements and support the wider dispatch function as required.
