Job summary

Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd is seeking an Logistics Coordinator for the AM shift at our East Tamaki Distribution Centre in Auckland. The role runs 4:00 AM to ~12:30 PM, opening the site, coordinating daily transport, and providing frontline customer service.

You will work to keep deliveries on track, assist drivers, and manage paperwork with ERP systems. A proactive, safety-first approach and strong communication are essential in our fast-paced logistics team.

Qualifications

• Full Class 5 licence with clean driving history (essential).
• Endorsed counterbalance forklift licence (2.5T-5T) is an advantage.
• Gantry crane experience is highly desirable.
• Strong dispatch/logistics coordination or similar experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Physically fit with a proactive, safety-first mindset.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft AX) and MS Office is advantageous.

Be the vital first point of contact for our early morning transport operations at our Stonedon Drive Distribution Centre. This early-start role (4:00 AM - ~12:30 PM) combines hands-on site opening with coordination and customer service.

As Logistics Coordinator, AM Shift

• You will open the site each morning, ensuring security and safety standards are met.

This is a coordination-focused role with a strong emphasis on planning, organisation, clear communication, and maintaining smooth operations between warehouse, dispatch, drivers, and customers. You’ll also contribute to QHSET compliance and continuous improvement in our logistics processes.

In addition to core coordination duts

This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate records, escalating delivery issues, and supporting team efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be highly organised, able to manage shifting priorities calmly, and comfortable engaging directly with customers and drivers. A positive, flexible attitude is essential in our small, supportive team where everyone pitches in as needed.

About You
