Job summary

Christians Against Poverty NZ is seeking a Head of Client Services to lead CAP's Debt Help Service through a season of growth and transformation. Working with the Services Director, you will guide a team of the Client Services operation, ensuring delivery of excellence and innovation across CAP's refreshed service model.

You will bring a deep passion for CAP's kaupapa and for building financial resilience in whānau, along with deep expertise in the Building Financial Capability sector

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience in a similar role (Head of Client Services or senior management).
• Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience within the Building Financial Capability sector.
• Familiarity with financial institutions, systems and practices in Aotearoa.
• Strong strategic and decision-making abilities with a track record of delivering strategic initiatives.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Client Services operations with a 20+ team and directly manage a four-person sub-team.
• Provide strategic leadership, guidance and coaching to CAP's Debt Help Service.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships to enable effective Debt Help delivery.
• Lead the Client Services team to align with CAP's refreshed vision, values and impact model.
• Embed continuous improvement of the Debt Help service and drive service excellence.
