Job summary

PwC New Zealand is seeking a Director-level leader to drive the Managed Services finance delivery, strengthen client relationships and shape a commercially sustainable offering. The role leads day-to-day client engagements, oversees month-end activities and reporting, and champions continuous improvement with automation and AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in finance, accounting, commercial advisory, finance operations or managed services.
• Strong understanding of finance function delivery, including month-end, reconciliations, management reporting, cash flow, variance analysis, board reporting, controls and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of finance managed services engagements, ensuring quality, scope, risk and commercial expectations.
• Manage recurring finance activities such as month-end support, reconciliations, management reporting, variance analysis, cash flow visibility and board/trustee reporting packs.
• Partner with PwC Partners, client relationship teams and specialists to support senior client conversations and maintain client confidence.
• Coach and develop delivery team members, including workflow allocation, quality review, feedback and capability building.
• Support continuous improvement through standardised processes, controls, approved tools, automation and AI-enabled ways of working.
