Job summary

CAPS Hauraki is seeking a capable Team Leader – Service Delivery to join the Leadership Team and lead a portfolio of community-based services supporting tamariki, rangatahi, adults and whānau. Qualifications

• Qualified professional with experience in social services or related field.
• Experience leading people and teams.
• Experience in family violence, trauma or risk assessment is valued.
• Willingness to take ownership and initiate improvements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; culturally responsive practice; valid NZ driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of service-delivery staff, building capability and setting performance expectations.
• Actively manage staff workload, productivity and performance, recognising good performance and addressing concerns.
• Oversee quality and contractual performance of services in your portfolio, achieving KPIs, volumes, outcomes and reporting requirements.
• Monitor performance, identify risks early, and take action to keep services on track.
• Provide practice leadership to ensure safe, high-quality service delivery and accurate client records.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement and propose practical solutions.
• Be an active member of CAPS Leadership Team, contributing ideas and analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders, agencies, professionals and community partners.
• Represent CAPS professionally and articulate the organisation’s positions when acting on its behalf.
