Job summary

New Zealand Transport Agency seeks a strategic Digital Workforce Manager to lead end-to-end resourcing for our Digital team. You’ll shape workforce governance, planning and data insights, align capability with delivery priorities, and manage contractor engagements with strong controls.

You’ll partner across Digital, People, Finance and procurement to enable value-for-money outcomes. You’ll mentor the Digital Workforce Advisor and build robust reporting to support leadership decisions and future

Qualifications

• Experience developing workforce strategies and plans.
• Experience in workforce modelling and forecasting in a Digital context.
• Ability to assess current capability, identify gaps and develop implementation plans.
• Strong data analytics to translate insights into actions.
• Experience in planning, resource management, recruitment, contractor governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce strategy and planning initiatives aligned with priorities.
• Deliver workforce reporting, insights and analysis for leadership decisions.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Partner with Chapter Leads to ensure internal capability meets needs.
• Lead the end-to-end contingent workforce lifecycle.
• Oversee contractor engagements with governance and compliance.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Commercial, Procurement and suppliers.
• Monitor engagements, tenure, extensions, costs and utilisation.
• Strengthen workforce processes and ensure accurate approvals and records.
