Solution Architect – Digital & Customer Platforms
An established New Zealand financial services organisation is continuing to evolve its digital platforms and is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to help shape that journey.
This is an opportunity to influence the architecture behind digital experiences used by customers and internal teams. You’ll work across mobile and web applications, APIs, cloud services and enterprise integrations, helping connect the wider digital ecosystem.
This isn’t an architecture role where you’ll produce designs and step away. You’ll remain close to delivery, partnering with product managers, engineers, designers and business stakeholders to turn ideas and customer needs into secure, scalable and practical solutions.
You’ll take ownership of solution architecture across key digital platforms, supporting teams to make sound technology decisions from early discovery through to delivery.
Your work will include:

You don’t need to have every answer on day one. What matters is your ability to navigate complexity, ask the right questions and bring people together around solutions that can genuinely be delivered.
You’re pragmatic, curious and comfortable working beyond the diagrams.
You can move between strategic architecture conversations and detailed technical discussions without losing sight of the customer outcome. You enjoy collaborating with engineers and product teams, explain complex ideas clearly, and know when to challenge, influence or find a practical way forward.
Most importantly, you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to shape connected digital experiences within an environment where your decisions and contribution will be visible.
