Job summary

Truckstops, based at our Waterloo site, is seeking a hands-on heavy-vehicle mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools. You will conduct routine maintenance and inspections to keep our trucks performing at their best, working with experienced pros and mentoring apprentices.

Flexibility to work after hours and rostered Saturdays is required, with travel for work/training as needed.

Job description

The Role

Based at our custom-built site at Waterloo Business Park and reporting to the Service Manager, you'll diagnose and repair mechanical issues using cutting-edge diagnostic tools, and conduct routine maintenance, service, and inspections to keep our trucks performing at their best. You'll collaborate with experienced pros, mentor apprentices, and continuously grow your skills.

This is a minimum 40 hours a week with a rostered Saturday. There is also an expectation to work after hours callouts as needed on a rostered basis, and flexibility to travel for work and training as and when required.

• Ideally, a Class 5 license (we can help you get it!)
