Truck Stops (NZ) Ltd in Hamilton is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical issues on heavy-duty trucks. You will work with advanced diagnostic tools, perform routine maintenance and inspections, and contribute to high-quality workmanship.

The role requires hands-on experience with heavy trucks, a strong safety mindset, and a willingness to travel for training. A Class 5 HT license and NZQA in Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant & Equipment are preferred; we offer job

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy-duty trucks and diagnostics.
• NZQA in Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant & Equipment.
• Class 5 HT license preferred (we can help you obtain it).

Responsabilités

You'll collaborate with experienced pros, mentor apprentices, and continuously grow your skills. This is a minimum 40 hours a week with a rostered Saturday.
