Job summary

Eagle Recruitment in the Bay of Plenty is seeking a full-time courier van driver for Papamoa Tauranga area. The role starts early and may include Saturdays, with 30–45 hours per week.

You will be responsible for timely collection and delivery of freight, vehicle upkeep, and complying with health and safety. A clean NZ driving licence and one year of driving experience are required; drug test and criminal record check may be requested.

Qualifications

• No qualification necessary.
• 12 months of driving experience is required.
• You will be required to have a valid DRIVING LICENCE that allows you to drive in New Zealand.
• You must be willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Drug Test, if requested.
• You must have a clean criminal conviction (MoJ) test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that your vehicle is in excellent running condition at all times. Thisincludes checking oil, filters, headlights, fasteners, air pressure, RUC, WOFdates, etc.
• Ensure that vehicles are used properly.
• Inform the fleet manager in case any paperwork has expired or any repairsneeded.
• Follow health and safety requirements strictly, at all times.
• Process inward and outward goods and parcels, unpacking and loading vans.
• Timely and efficient collection and delivery of freight.

Position - Courier Driver

We are looking for a full-time permanent courier van driver to be part of our team. Thisposition requires starting early morning and working on some Saturdays.You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours/week and maximum 45.

_You are required to work under weather condtion as it is essentional service and we have to provide services to our customer in rain OR shine.

• Maintain ODO meter readings and other delivery records as required.
• Assisting with checking wrongly addressed, undelivered, missorted,redirected parcels and freight.

You must be a New Zealand Citizen/ Resident or on a Valid Visa and able to work full time.
