Job summary

Deakin Motors in Hawke's Bay (Hastings) is seeking a qualified diesel mechanic to join our busy team. We cover all aspects of Isuzu truck sales, repairs and servicing, with a full heavy transport engineering shop and a dismantling yard for multiple brands.

The successful applicant will have proven truck and trailer repair experience, current truck licenses or the ability to attain them, and competence with diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday, with Saturday mornings by roster.

Deakin Motors is a family owned business that has been established in Hawkes Bay for nearly 60 years. As the Hawkes Bay dealer for Isuzu, New Zealand's most popular truck for over 20 years, we cover all aspects of truck sales, repairs and servicing. We also feature a full heavy transport engineering shop as well as a truck panel repair and paint shop and a dismantling yard covering all makes and model.

We are currently looking for a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our busy team. Perhaps you are unqualified but highly experienced? This could be for you too.

Our successful applicant will have

• Proven truck and trailer repair experience
• Current truck license(s) or the ability to attain them
• Competence with diagnostic equipment

In return you will receive competitive remuneration based on the skills and experience you bring to the role as well as on going product training as offered by Isuzu New Zealand and internal on the job training across multiple truck and trailer brands. A company service ute and cell phone will also be available to the right tech as part of their package.
