Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Deskside Engineer to deploy, configure, maintain and support IT services across hospital and healthcare environments in Aotearoa New Zealand.

You will work with senior engineers to resolve issues, implement new solutions and ensure systems remain secure and available. A current driver licence and willingness to travel between sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting IT services in a technical environment.
• A current full or restricted driver licence is required to travel between sites.
• At least 1 year of operational tasks, troubleshooting issues and following standards.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain and support IT services across hospital and healthcare environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems to keep systems reliable and available.
• Support implementation of new technology solutions and ongoing service improvements.
• Participate in the on-call pool to provide after-hours technical support when required.
