Job summary

Oji Fibre Solutions in Auckland, New Zealand, is creating a role to shape our demand planning capability across packaging operations. The position reports to the National Supply Chain Manager and collaborates with sales, customer service, and operations teams to improve forecasting and inventory planning.

You will lead monthly regional demand reviews, drive S&OP processes, and push continuous improvement in reporting and tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in demand planning, forecasting or related supply chain planning.
• Exposure to S&OP or integrated planning processes.
• Experience in manufacturing or production-based environment is advantageous.
• Strong data analysis and forecasting skills.
• Experience working with ERP, demand planning or forecasting tools.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Demand planning and forecasting in collaboration with sales and customer service.

Oji Fibre Solutions is a long-established manufacturer and supplier of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries across New Zealand and around the world. Our customers include blue-chip manufacturers and marketers in the primary produce, food, industrial and grocery sectors.

This newly created role reports to the National Supply Chain Manager and offers the opportunity to shape demand planning capability across our New Zealand packaging operations, working closely with sales, customer service, supply planning and operations teams.

Responsibilities:

• Demand planning and forecasting in collaboration with sales and customer service
• Leading the monthly Demand Reviews for our three regions and owning the Demand stream of the S&OP cycle
• Inventory and seasonal stock build planning in collaboration with supply planning and operations teams
• Driving continuous improvement in demand planning processes, tools and reporting, including the use of relevant what-if scenarios to support business decisions
• Actively contributing to a culture of safety first through attending all training, reading and acting on all EHSR communications

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in demand planning, forecasting or related supply chain planning
• Exposure to S&OP or integrated planning processes
• Experience within manufacturing or production-based environment advantageous
• Strong data analysis and forecasting skills
• Experience working with ERP, demand planning or forecasting skills
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
