Job summary

Oji Fibre Solutions is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to shape our New Zealand planning capability across Mangere Bridge and Christchurch operations. You will forecast demand, lead monthly S&OP reviews with sales and customer service, and collaborate with supply planning to manage inventories and seasonal stock.

Job description

Location Mangere Bridge, Auckland OR Hornby, Christchurch

OJI Fibre Solutions is a long-established manufacturer and supplier of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries across New Zealand and around the world. Our customers include blue-chip manufacturers and marketers in the primary produce, food, industrial and grocery sectors.

This newly created role reports to the National Supply Chain Manager and offers the opportunity to shape demand planning capability across our New Zealand packaging operations, working closely with sales, customer service, supply planning and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Demand planning and forecasting in collaboration with sales and customer service.
• Leading the monthly Demand Reviews for our three regions and owning the Demand stream of the S&OP cycle.
• Inventory and seasonal stock build planning in collaboration with supply planning and operations teams.
• Driving continuous improvement in demand planning processes, tools and reporting, including the use of relevant what-if scenarios to support business decisions.
• Actively contributing to a culture of safety first through attending all training, reading and acting on all EHSR communications.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting or related supply chain planning
• Exposure to S&OP or integrated planning processes
• Experience within manufacturing or production-based environment advantageous
• Strong data analysis and forecasting skills
• Experience working with ERP, demand planning or forecasting skills
• Advanced Excel & reporting capabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
