Job summary

SAS Autoparts Ltd is seeking a delivery driver to service customers around Hastings, NZ. You will predominantly deliver parts and ensure orders are accurate for dispatch. When not on deliveries, you will help the branch with sales processing and order preparation.

Ideal candidates have a clean full driver’s licence, good customer service, and safety focus. A positive, energetic attitude and ability to lift and load are essential for daily operations.

About the role

This role will see you predominately out on the road delivering parts/products to our customers in the local area. When deliveries are not required you will also assist with in the branch with processing sales and preparing orders for dispatch.

Who we’re looking for

• Although a clean full driver's licence is required, attitude and personality are key for this position.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts would be an advantage
• Always have a safety focus to ensure your safety, and that of your teammates, customers & general public, along with an ongoing commitment to safe driving practices
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise
• Punctual with great customer service & communication skills
• Energetic with a friendly personality & a positive attitude
• Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving
