The role requires physical fitness, honesty, reliability, and willingness to work on weekends with early starts or late finishes. Training will be provided and NZ licence progression is supported.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required; full training will be provided.
• Overseas Driver Licence with ability to legally drive in NZ and obtain NZ Class 1 Licence afterwards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes as required by supermarket orders.
• Follow delivery routes and time schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Complete logs and reports.
• Follow H&S regulations and safety standards.
• Handle products and goods with care and respect.
• Provide reliable delivery times.
• Report to the Owner.
• Maneuver vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
• Assist with loading to ensure goods are arranged for safe delivery and secured to avoid damage.
• Verify loading documents.
• Arrange unloading operations and may receive payments for deliveries.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs.

RDHIMANZ INVESTMENTS LIMITED is looking for an energetic and attentive Delivery Driver to work on a full-time permanent position based in GISBORNE Region in New Zealand.

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a full-time permanent position and successful applicant will be required to carry out all following mentioned duties as a Delivery Driver:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes as required by the Supermarket orders
• Follow appropriate delivery routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow H&S regulations and safety standards
• Handling products and goods with care and respect
• Promise delivery time
• Reporting to the Owner
• Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
• Assisting with loading to ensure goods are arranged for ease of delivery and safely secured to avoid damage
• Verifying loading documents
• Arranging and performing unloading operations and may receive payments for deliveries. Reporting vehicle maintenance needs

Candidate Requirements:-

• Be physically fit
• Be Honest and Reliable
• Be Drug free and be able to pass drug test on any random day
• Have good attention to detail
• Physically comfortable lifting 15kgs +
• Able to work on the rotational roster with an early start and/or late finish according to the workload
• Must be able to work on Weekends and during mornings, afternoon and evenings

Experience or Qualification:-

• Qualification or Work experience is not required for this role as full training will be provided.

Hours and Position:-

• It is a full time permanent job with minimum 30 hours + per week.
