Job summary

ANC Services Limited in Christchurch, Canterbury, is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. You will operate a company vehicle to deliver goods safely and on schedule, with travel and fuel costs covered.

The role requires working a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an hourly rate of NZD 25–30. Availability from 7am to 7pm and weekends is required; a clean driver’s license and pre-employment drug testing are also part of the process. Physical fitness is essential.

• A relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability to work between 7am to 7pm
• Must be available to work on weekends.
• Clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required.
• Physically fit and capable of handling the job’s physical demands, including heavy lifting.
• Self-motivated and a passionate individual.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of items to different addresses, following assigned routes and schedules.
• Operate and regularly inspect company delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain delivery logs and reports to ensure accurate order tracking.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders.
• Drive safely in all weather conditions, navigating local streets and highways using GPS.
• Perform other relevant tasks to support smooth delivery operations.
