Job summary

Bidfood Whangarei is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team in New Zealand. You will deliver to rest homes, hospitals, cafés, and restaurants in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high service standards.

The role is Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays (minimum 40 hours per week). It requires physical fitness, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Applicants must have a Class 2 licence and pass all pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling.
• Customer service experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug test.
• Must hold a Full Class 2 Drivers Licence (Medium Rigid Vehicle).

Bidfood Whangarei, a leader in New Zealand’s foodservice industry, services one of the country’s largest seasonal territories. With a modern fleet, including new vehicles on the way, we are looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team.

About the Role:

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays (Minimum 40hours per week)

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Physically fit and healthy – manual handling, including heavy lifting, is part of the daily routine.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a Criminal History Check, ACC check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Full Class 2 Drivers Licence (Medium Rigid Vehicle)
