Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island in Auckland is seeking a Deli Supervisor to lead the Deli team on-site at Sylvia Park. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, staff supervision, rostering, and ensuring food safety and presentation standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years deli experience, can manage rosters, communicate effectively in English, and is prepared for shifts Tuesday to Saturday. Progression toward a 2IC role is available within the Deli department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of deli work experience required.
• Confident to manage staff and rosters
• Flexibility and commitment to work various shifts throughout the week
• Excellent time-management and communication skills
• Ensure that all relevant Food Safety and OSH standards are always followed
• Physically Fit and high level of personal presentation
• High integrity, reliability, honesty and self motivation
• Good Understanding of English and ability to communicate fluently in English

We are searching for an excellent candidate to join our Deli team, as the Deli Supervisor.

We are searching for a candidate to fill the following shift pattern.

Shift pattern:

Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 6:00am - 2:30 PM Total: 40 Hours

Your day to day will be:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Directing and supervising the team
• Rostering
• Ensuring that the Deli serve over is well stocked and that appearance standards are upheld
• Ensuring the correct prices, dates, and standards are upheld while packaging and labelling products
• Undertaking appropriate Delicatessen food preparation specific tasks .
• Cleaning at the end of the day in accordance with our food safety control plan

What we need from you:
