Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a dedicated deli assistant in Wellington to help prepare a range of deli items including roast chicken, cheeses and salads, and to assemble platters for customer orders. The role requires excellent customer service, reliability, and the ability to work daytime, evenings, and weekends.

It is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week minimum) with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, organised and adaptable to varying shift patterns.

You will be assisting in preparing our delicious deli foods like roast chicken, cheeses, salads, slicing meat, platters, and other customer orders

About you

Apart from your excellent customer service skills, you should be highly motivated, friendly, reliable, well-organized, and with a great team attitude. You also have the flexibility to work daytime hours, evenings, and weekends.

This vacancy is for a permanent full-time role (40 hours per week min). which will include at least 1 weekend day

Full training will be provided.
