Job summary

Juken New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join the Masterton team. You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing equipment, diagnose faults, and contribute to safety and reliability initiatives.

The role operates predominantly on a Day Shift from 7.00am to 3.30pm, reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced electrician with industrial or maintenance electrical background.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose faults and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with established procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects.
• Share ideas and recommendations to improve plant performance and productivity.
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
