Job summary

JNL in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Fitter) to ensure reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment through planned and breakdown maintenance. This hands-on role involves diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs in a large industrial environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with strong training opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and pathways into supervisory and management roles as part of a growing company.

Qualifications

NZ Certificate in Mechanical and Maintenance Engineering (Level 4) or equivalent qualification.
Welding certification.
Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose faults and identify causes of unplanned downtime.
Complete repairs to minimise production interruptions.
Contribute to continuous improvement and share ideas to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams in a large manufacturing environment.
