Job summary

Delegat is seeking a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to join the Corporate IT team in Auckland. You will design and support data pipelines, lakehouse architectures and semantic models that enable trusted, self-service analytics across the business.

You will work with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and cloud data platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions and improve data governance and quality.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in Data Engineer/Analytics Engineer roles.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric pipelines, Dataflows and Lakehouse.
• Strong Power BI development and data modelling.
• Experience translating requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Experience monitoring and improving production data environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Microsoft Fabric pipelines, Dataflows, Lakehouse objects and ingestion processes.
• Develop and support semantic models and Power BI solutions for self-service analytics.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise Fabric workloads for performance and scale.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Support data governance through documentation, metadata, data quality and lineage.
