Theta in Wellington is seeking an experienced Lead Data Consultant to join the Data and Insights Practice. You will own client analytics delivery, turning business questions into trusted reporting and semantic models using Microsoft Fabric and the Azure Data Platform.

You will lead discovery, design analytics data models, and deliver practical, adoptable solutions with clear documentation and coaching. The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, delivery excellence, and a sustainable pace.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Power BI delivery and semantic model design.
• 4+ years client-facing consulting, leading discovery workshops.
• 4+ years analytics data modelling and SQL for profiling and data transformation.
• 4+ years end-to-end analytics delivery ownership in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery to define KPIs/metrics and reporting outcomes.
• Design semantic model and analytics data model, then build the first iteration in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Deliver pragmatic, adoptable solutions with documentation and coaching.
