Job summary

Halter is seeking a driven Account Manager to join our Canterbury team, serving as the primary contact for Halter customers and helping dairy farms adopt our system to boost productivity and sustainability.

Based anywhere in South Canterbury with travel, you will manage renewals, expansions, onboarding, and on-farm support, building trusted relationships with farmers and peers while helping shape the future of farming.

Qualifications

• Background in relationship management/account management roles.
• Experience in dairy farming or agriculture is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and willingness to deepen it on the job.

Responsibilities

• Own retention, renewals and expansion targets for Halter revenue in the region.
• Ensure farmers derive full value from Halter to meet business goals.
• Renew customer agreements and expand revenue by adding value in interactions.
• Support onboarding, training and implementation of Halter on farms.
• Build proactive relationships with farmers, teams and families.
• Partner with customers to set goals, timelines and success metrics.
• Provide timely technical/operational support addressing challenges.
• Represent Halter in the community and grow local brand presence.
• Collaborate with product teams to relay farmer feedback and needs.
