Hato Hone St John in New Zealand is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead the ongoing development of our cyber security operations capability. You will drive the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information systems and services.

You will oversee security operations, incident response, vulnerability management and security monitoring, while partnering with service providers to embed best practices and deliver measurable security improvements across technology projects

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in cyber security management.
• Experience with security operations, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with HISF, NZISM, NIST, ISO 27001 or CIS Controls.
• Experience supporting security audits and assurance activities.
• Strong communication translating risk to business outcomes.
• Experience building and developing technical teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day cyber security function and team.
• Oversee security operations, incident response, vulnerability management and security monitoring.
• Drive governance, risk management, compliance and improvement.
• Build relationships with vendors, MSPs and SOC partners.
• Provide security leadership across projects, infra, cloud, and emerging tech.
• Promote security culture through education and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead security reporting, metrics and performance.
• Contribute to cyber security strategy and roadmap.
