Job summary

Ideal Electrical Suppliers in New Zealand is seeking a friendly, capable Customer and Web Services Agent to be a key contact for our customers. You will provide high-quality service, respond to enquiries, support customers using online services, and help ensure every interaction is professional and efficient.

You will work closely with branches, the Category & Procurement Team, the Digital team and the Distribution Centre to resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve our processes and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or similar service-focused role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through to resolution.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident using business systems and technology, with the ability to learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a consistent level of service.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, professional and solutions-focused support to branches and customers across phone, email and other approved channels.
• Assist customers and branches with Webshop queries, access and general navigation, resolving issues where possible.
• Ensure all customer interactions are handled in a professional, timely and consistent manner, in line with agreed service standards.
• Escalate issues requiring specialist support to the appropriate team and maintain ownership of the enquiry through to resolution.
• Process customer access requests in accordance with approved procedures and ensure access is provided accurately and within appropriate timeframes.

Job description

We are looking for a friendly, capable and digitally confident Customer and Web Services Agent to be a key point of contact for our customers. In this role, you will provide high-quality service, respond to enquiries, support customers using online services, and help ensure every interaction is handled professionally and efficiently.

The role is focused on delivering a consistent, professional customer experience while working closely with branches, the Category & Procurement Team, the Digital team and the Distribution Centre to resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve our processes and service.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, communicating clearly, and helping people get the information or support they need.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Provide responsive, professional and solutions-focused support to branches and customers across phone, email and other approved channels.

Assist customers and branches with Webshop queries, access and general navigation, resolving issues where possible.
