Job summary

Corys Electrical, a leading electrical wholesaler in New Zealand, is seeking a Customer Service and Sales person for its Taupo branch. You will greet and assist customers at the counter, unpack and receipting incoming goods, and help with picking, packing and dispatching orders.

A positive attitude and strong team spirit are essential. The role involves loading delivery vehicles, occasional deliveries, and providing sound advice to customers to meet their needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in counter-based customer service.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Able to work efficiently, accurately and as part of a team.

What does the Customer Service andSales person do?

This multifaceted counter-basedrole supports branch operations, from assisting customers at the counter andunpacking and receipting incoming goods, to picking, packing and dispatchingcustomer orders, loading the delivery vehicle, and occasionally undertakingdeliveries. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers receivetheir orders on time while consistently providing a high level of qualityservice.

They participate in everythingfrom inwards/outwards goods and stocktakes, to helping customers find theproducts they need and processing sales. How? By welcoming them to the branch,listening to their needs, and providing them with sound advice every time.

This role can be physically demanding, so a decent level of physical fitness is required. You will also need your full driver license. Having your F-endorsement is beneficial butnot required as we can get you trained in this area!
