Pultron Composites in Gisborne, NZ is seeking a proactive Customer Services — Sales Support professional to manage email and phone inquiries, assist sales reps with quotes and orders, and keep customer records accurate in our CRM. You will coordinate with production and logistics to ensure promises are kept.
Ideal candidates have strong written English, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and are curious about using AI to streamline communications.
We design and manufacture advanced composite materials that end up in sea walls, bridges, marinas, mines and infrastructure projects all over the world - composites are one of a wide range of materials we work with, across a wide range of industries. We export around 90% of what we make out of New Zealand, so most of our customers reach us by email, with a fair bit of phone contact too - it's a very different kind of customer service to someone walking in off the street, and that's exactly why it's interesting.
This is a genuinely good first job. Not a photocopier-and-coffee first job - a real one, where you're on email and phone with customers across time zones, helping sales reps get quotes and orders out the door, and learning how a global manufacturing business actually runs from the inside. If you're a recent grad - marketing, communications, business, or you just write well and think on your feet - this is a legitimate place to launch a career. If you're not a grad but you've got a sharp inbox, a good head for numbers, and the drive to keep ten things moving at once, you'll fit right in too. We care as much about who you are as what's on your CV.
Why Gisborne? Because it's real life at a real pace - beaches five minutes from your desk, a cost of living that doesn't eat your paycheque, and a company where your work is genuinely visible. And don't let the small town fool you: we're a growing global business, with plants and interests in Saudi Arabia and the USA, and now expanding into Australia too. You'll be part of something with real reach, without getting lost in it.

Trust, One Team, and Innovation aren't posters on our wall - they're how decisions actually get made here. We hold people to a high standard because we respect them enough to expect great work, and we back that up with a team that has your back. Bring honesty, bring curiosity, be willing to learn, and you'll go a long way with us.
