Hamilton City Council is hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for residents and customers. You will handle service requests using our Knowledge Base and provide case-by-case responses to meet individual needs.

The Customer & Community Unit is the connection between the various units within the Council and its residents and customers. We pride ourselves on being both the voice of the customer, and the face of the organisation.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our residents and customers - no two days are ever the same in our world. The work pattern for this 40 hour role is:
Monday 10.30am - 7.00pm
Tuesday 12.30pm - 9.00pm
Thursday 10.30am - 7.00pm
Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm
You will be kept busy processing requests for service and enquiries. Using the knowledge gained from your training and within our Knowledge Base, you will interpret facts and deliver on individual customer requests on a case-by-case basis specific to their needs.
This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of a variety of council's business functions within a contact center environment.

The role starts at $29.90 per hour but could be negotiated depending on experience and qualifications.
