Hamilton City Council is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join our People, Performance and Culture Group. You’ll manage end-to-end recruitment, partner with hiring managers, attract, select and onboard great talent, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
You’ll work with a team of three Recruitment Specialists within our HR Delivery team, in a collaborative, high-performing environment that values service excellence and delivering outcomes for stakeholders and the community.

As a Recruitment Specialist, you'll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to attract, select and onboard great talent. You'll be a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment journey while ensuring candidates receive a positive, professional experience from start to finish.
Your tasks will be varied - you could be working with hiring managers on job approvals and role briefs, creating engaging job advertisements, coordinating offers and onboarding, developing innovative sourcing strategies, building talent pipelines, attending careers expos, or promoting our employer brand in the community. Most importantly, you'll help connect great people with great opportunities. You'll be joining a team of three Recruitment Specialists within our wider HR Delivery team.
