Job summary

BNT in New Zealand's Otago region is seeking a customer service superstar to assist customers in selecting the right vehicle parts and to process orders at the counter and over the phone.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with alternate Saturday mornings. You will need excellent customer service, a current NZ full license, and basic Excel skills to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in automotive or trade is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Excel are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve trade customers at the counter and over the phone.
• Help customers find the right vehicle parts and solutions.
• Pick, pack, and process customer orders accurately.

We’re on the lookout for a customer service superstar to join our team – someone who can not only deliver outstanding service but also help our customers choose the right parts to get the job done. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (8 am – 5 pm) with alternate Saturday mornings.

What the role involves:

• Serving trade customers at the counter and over the phone
• Helping customers find the right vehicle parts and solutions
• Picking, packing, and processing customer orders accurately
• Spotting opportunities to upsell or recommend related products
• Building strong relationships with our loyal customer base

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

• Customer service experience (automotive or trade industry experience is a big plus)
• Computer skills are a must (basic excel skills are advantageous)
• A genuine interest in cars, or parts
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep things accurate
