Job summary

BNT in Otago is seeking a customer service-focused team member with a full NZ driver's license to help customers choose the right car parts and deliver exceptional service.

You will handle counter and phone inquiries, assist with parts recommendations, and process orders accurately in a fast-paced environment, with a team-first culture and clear growth paths.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience (automotive or trade industry a plus).
• Computer skills including basic Excel.
• Genuine interest in cars or parts.
• Strong communication and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay accurate.
• Team-first approach and collaboration.

Responsibilities

We're on the lookout for a customer service superstar to join our team - someone who can not only deliver outstanding service but also help our customers choose the right parts to get the job done.

What the role involves:

• Serving trade customers at the counter and over the phone
• Helping customers find the right vehicle parts and solutions
• Picking, packing, and processing customer orders accurately
• Spotting opportunities to upsell or recommend related products
• Building strong relationships with our loyal customer base

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

• Customer service experience (automotive or trade industry experience is a big plus)

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (8 am - 5 pm) with alternate Saturday mornings.
