Job summary

Employer Sponsored Jobs in Queenstown, New Zealand, is seeking a Customer Service / Groomer to manage quotes, contracts and vehicle presentation for our rental fleet. You will work closely with a small team to deliver outstanding service, maintain grooming standards, and handle bookings and administration.

This full-time position is 40 hours per week, rostered 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with a Saturday finish at 1:00pm.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator to support a small team in branch operations.
• Permanent full-time role, 40 hours per week, rostered 8.00am–5.00pm Monday to Friday with Saturday finish at 1.00pm.
• Accredited Employer with Immigration NZ; visa sponsorship offered only when suitable NZ workers are unavailable.
• Background in customer-facing service and grooming experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent phone manner and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phones and give customers sales advice and quotes, then create the contracts and complete the transactions
• Arrange vehicle deliveries and collections
• Run office administration, including upkeep of customer accounts
• Present the branch's vehicles and rental fleet groomed to the highest standards, with all necessary compliance checks completed
• Identify repair and maintenance issues with the team, escalate them, and manage damages and maintenance as required

Job description

The employer here runs a vehicle rental branch in Queenstown, New Zealand, and needs a Customer Service / Groomer who is as comfortable quoting a hire over the phone as cleaning and presenting a vehicle for its next customer. Its clients include business, commercial and recreational travellers, some hiring locally for a short term and others on larger long-term contracts.

What the employer needs is a confident communicator who will support a small, hardworking team in every area of branch operations. It is a permanent full-time post of 40 hours per week, worked to a roster within opening hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday and a Saturday finish at 1.00pm. As an Accredited Employer with Immigration NZ, the business can consider candidates who require a work visa, and so sponsor them, only where it cannot appoint the suitable and available NZ workers it would ideally recruit.
