Job summary

Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Service Agent for full-time, fixed-term (3 months) during our busy season. You will check and prepare vehicles to ensure the best condition for customers.

We offer training, a supportive team, and a schedule that runs seven days a week. The role requires a full, clean class 1 driver’s licence and a hands-on, fast-paced work style in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role
• Previous experience in a hands-on or physical labouring role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a high standard of work
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards

Responsibilities

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles
• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure.
• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices as required
• Refuelling tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth

Keeping our fleet looking like new is essential to our operations at Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown. We now have an opportunity for someone who isn’t afraid of hard work and has a keen eye to detail to come and be part of our fantastic team!

About the Role

As what we call a Vehicle Service Agent your will be a key component to our operations. You will be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers.

As we operate 7 days a week from 8 am to 6:30 pm you will be required to work anytime during our operating hours which may include early mornings, evenings, full weekends and public holidays as required.
