Job summary

Pope Textile Bag and Packaging Ltd. is seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Officer to manage customer orders and oversee logistics operations from our Auckland site.

You will coordinate orders across shipping and supply chain activities, maintain warehouse inventory, and handle related administrative tasks to ensure smooth dispatches.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and logistics.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative.
• Able to prioritise workload and switch between tasks.

Responsibilities

• Taking and entering orders by phone and email.
• Generating and reconciling paperwork related to orders and dispatches.
• Stock control and receipting of new stock.
• Maintaining shipping files and updating shipping information.
• Assist in import customs clearance of containers.
• Assist in devanning of containers.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory levels.
• Set up new print orders.
• General office administration tasks.

We have an exciting new role in the dynamic world of Industrial Packaging for a Customer Service and Logistics Officer based at Pope Textile Bag and Packaging Ltd. The role involves managing customer orders, logistics operations, warehouse inventory, and general office administration across a range of shipping and supply chain activities.

Key responsibilities

• Taking and entering orders by phone and email
• Generating and reconciling paperwork that relates to orders and dispatches
• Stock control, including receipting of new stock
• Maintaining shipping files
• Updating shipping information and communicating updates
• Import customs clearance of containers
• Assisting in the devanning of containers
• Monitoring and maintaining warehouse inventory levels
• Setting up new print orders
• General office administration work

About you

• Customer-centric mindset
• Experience in shipping and logistics
• Warehouse picking, packing and forklift license preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative
• Able to prioritise workload, and switch quickly from one task to another
