Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Customer Insights Lead – Credit for Institutional & Business Banking in Auckland. You’ll transform customer and portfolio data into actionable commercial insight, influencing bankers and leaders across Credit, Risk, Finance and Distribution.

With strong credit/financial analysis, you’ll interpret P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, identify growth opportunities and risks, and develop dashboards and tools in SQL/Power BI/Tableau to inform strategic conversations.

Qualifications

• Strong credit and financial analysis capability, including interpreting P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Ability to connect financial performance to customer strategy, growth, profitability and risk.
• Experience translating complex analysis into clear opportunities and recommendations for customers and senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Identify themes, risks and opportunities within customer and portfolio data.
• Analyse customer financial performance across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Develop insights on margin performance, working capital, pricing and benchmarking.
• Build portfolio insights, heatmaps and risk signals for Relationship Managers.
• Undertake portfolio, segment and customer analysis for growth opportunities and concentrations.
• Translate macro developments into practical customer and banker insights.
• Turn complex analysis into actionable stories and recommendations for leaders.
• Develop dashboards, insight packs and reusable tools to bring analysis to life.
