Job summary

The Ministry of Justice (New Zealand) is seeking a Court Registry Support Officer for the District Court in Manukau, Auckland. The role supports day-to-day court operations, courier to the court, and assists Registry Officers with case management and admin tasks.

You will provide customer service, assist judges and registry staff, and help with juror support and court processes, including English and Te Reo Māori introductions.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and efficient customer service.
• Support Judges and Court Registry Officers in and out of court.
• Introduce Judges/Judicial Officers into court (in English and Te Reo Māori).
• Support the jury service function and jurors for trial hearings.
• Provide general administrative support including photocopying, scanning and filing.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
• Manage evidence exhibits.
• Data entry.
• Provide support and advice to our diverse customer base.
