Job summary

Ziptrek Ecotours in Queenstown, NZ seeks a Course Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure safety, and maximise guest and staff experience. You will mentor Guide groups, cover a management role in the absence of the Course Manager and Site Director.

Applicants should have 3+ years of guiding experience at heights, strong leadership, and solid health and safety knowledge in outdoor settings. A first aid certificate is required, and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 + years relevant guiding experience at heights, ideally with at least 1 year in a ziplining company.
• Leadership skills - 1 year previous experience in a lead, supervisor or manager role
• An understanding of health and safety risk management especially at heights and in an outdoor environment
• Physically active with the ability to lift 45 kgs
• Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
• Pre-hospital Emergency Care Certificate or relevant first aid qualification - this is a pre requisite and must be acquired by the candidate prior to sign off from training - there must be a minimum of 9 months left on cert upon start date
• Your own training and development budget allocation
• Minimum hours of 30 per week
• Recreation and wellness allowance
• Birthday off after 2 years of continuous service

The basic function of the Course Supervisor is to ensure the daily operations of Ziptrek are running smoothly, safely and efficiently, while maximising guest and employee experience.
