Responsibilities

• Arrange and perform unloading operations and obtain delivery certification.

• Load goods safely and arrange for delivery.
• Maneuver vehicles for loading/unloading.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs.

We are looking for a self-motivated team player to join our Operations teamlocated in Christchurch.

a high degree of physical fitness and a “can do attitude”

the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines

a good geographical knowledge of Christchurch and surrounding suburbs

arranging and performing unloading operations and obtaining certification of deliveries

adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules

determining the most appropriate delivery routes according to the destination of goods

the proper and safe loading of goods to ensure they are arranged for ease of delivery

manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading

reporting vehicle maintenance needs

Full training will be provided, however, previous experience in a Courier role or in the logistics industry would be an advantage.
