As Contract Manager – Infrastructure, you’ll have full ownership of delivery performance across Camex Civil’s infrastructure portfolio – 3 Waters, transport, and public works projects across the Waikato region. You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Site Managers, and be the senior point of accountability for financial, quality, safety, and time outcomes.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be visible on site, engaged with clients, and driving performance across the team.
Leading end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across the region, from planning and resourcing through to completion
Providing operational oversight and governance across multiple projects simultaneously
Holding Project Managers accountable for delivery, quality, financial, and safety performance
Managing client relationships at a senior level, acting as the key point of contact for negotiations and issue resolution
Overseeing budgets, forecasts, variations, and monthly reporting
Contributing to tender reviews, delivery methodologies, and business development
Building a strong, aligned team culture consistent with Cemex’s RIPPED values
10+ years’ experience delivering civil infrastructure or land development projects
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
Proven success in client management, contract negotiation, and senior team leadership
Strong financial and commercial acumen – you understand margin, forecasting, and cost control
Sound decision-making under pressure with the ability to assess and manage risk across a portfolio
Experience in both greenfield and brownfield environments (preferred)
Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and modern project management systems (preferred)
Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence
