We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic, ambitious Contract Manager to join our Central Lakes Division.
Think of yourself as the conductor of the orchestra, except your orchestra is diggers, trucks and a top crew. In this key role you'll forward plan, programme and organise your people and plant so every project gets done efficiently and safely. You'll lead or work on tender submissions and quotations, keep quality front and centre, and deliver the high standard of customer service SouthRoads is known for. You'll also be the Divisional Manager's right-hand person, helping manage and deliver projects across Central Otago.
You'll be confident running the Management of Works and Contracts show, including:
Communication is your superpower - you use it to lead your team and to keep clients in the loop. You're confident directing a crew, spotting and growing potential, and making sure our site safety standards are followed every time. You might come from a trade background or have a tertiary qualification in engineering. You've got a solid grip on NZTA specs and local government requirements, plus real, boots-on-the-ground experience in the civil industry.
Driven, committed and hard-working, you're a time management whiz who loves being part of a tight-knit team. You're passionate about great results and just as comfortable chatting with other managers as you are with field staff, all to deliver on time and on budget.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of professionals in a fun, relaxed work environment.
