HEB Construction seeks an exceptional Civil Manager to lead Otago and Southland, based in Queenstown with oversight of Invercargill and the wider region. This role blends strategy with delivery, empowering you to shape growth, win work, and build high‑performing teams across civil infrastructure, land development and capital works.

You will partner with clients, councils and developers, drive profitability, manage risk, and deliver projects safely on time, creating lasting value for communities

As Civil Manager for Otago and Southland, you'll lead the overall performance of the region across operations, people, commercial outcomes and business development.

You'll partner closely with clients, consultants, councils, developers and industry stakeholders to identify opportunities, secure work and position HEB as the contractor of choice.

This role will suit someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution. Someone who can walk into a boardroom in the morning, review commercial performance after lunch, and spend the afternoon on-site supporting delivery teams.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading all regional civil operations across Otago and Southland

• Proven experience winning work and developing client relationships
