Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities invites applications for an Advisor - Contract Management in Christchurch, Canterbury. Reporting to the Manager Maintenance Commercial Contracts, the role engages with maintenance partners under Te Mahi Ngātahi and supports operational delivery through contract advice, issue resolution and data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge and experience of contract management processes.
• Experience in an operational/delivery role in commercial/financial management of contracts.
• Knowledge of operational work order management and delivery will be useful.
• Demonstrated experience in an advisory level, constructing recommendations and analysing data.
• Proven sound commercial acumm (ACUMM)
• Experience working in a service delivery environment with customer focused approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the proven ability to build and maintain working relationships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in plain language.
• Sound judgement, discretion and proven ability to plan, prioritise and work under pressure.
• Desirable: CCM certification at Practitioner level or IACCM.

Responsibilities

• Providing advice and resolving issues is a key part of this role.
• Responding effectively and efficiently to changes and demands in a reactive environment.
• Support operational delivery through data-driven recommendations.
• Autonomously function while collaborating with the people leader and stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with Maintenance Partners under Te Mahi Ngātahi (Maintenance 2020).
• Analyse data to support decision making and contract performance.
