Job summary

Downer Group in New Zealand is seeking a proactive Civil Construction professional to support delivery across road maintenance, construction, and infrastructure projects in Central Otago and surrounding regions. You will assist in planning, tendering through to execution and financial management, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will have a Civil Engineering qualification or relevant experience, proven delivery in civil projects, a solid understanding of contract frameworks,

Qualifications

Civil engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
Proven experience delivering contracts or projects in civil construction, roading, or Three Waters.
Strong planning, programming, and cost-control capabilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing project methodologies, budgets, and programmes
Support contract management to meet client expectations
Conduct site assessments and support traffic management planning
Build relationships with client representatives
Collaborate with supervisors to optimize productivity and control costs
Promote zero-harm culture
