Job summary

SouthRoads in Dunedin is seeking a motivated Contract Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects across Otago. Based in Dunedin, you’ll oversee experienced construction teams, manage budgets and drive safety, quality and environmental performance.

You will lead tendering, estimating and pricing opportunities, build strong client relationships and collaborate with subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Excellent commercial acumen and contract management experience.
• Experience tendering, estimating and securing new work opportunities.
• Sound understanding of NZS 3910 and civil construction contract management.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract delivery across multiple projects and sites.
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant and subcontractors.
• Tender, estimate and price opportunities for new work.
• Administer contracts and manage commercial performance.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and project profitability.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
